What does “Emike” mean?

“Emike” means my desire in Etsako, the language of the Etsako people of Nigeria. Emike is my mother's name and it reflects our belief that beauty, when created with intention, becomes part of everyday life — not something fleeting or excessive.

Are your products safe and thoughtfully made?

Yes. All Emike Luxury products are crafted using high-quality, ethically sourced ingredients chosen for safety, performance, and integrity. Our fragrances are paraben-free and phthalate-free, and nothing is tested on animals. Full ingredient details are available on each product page.

Why do you use wood wicks in your candles?

We use FSC-certified wood wicks because they burn more cleanly and evenly than traditional cotton wicks while offering a refined, steady scent throw. They may develop a small amount of ash at the tip, which can be gently removed once cooled before relighting. The soft crackling sound is intentional — a subtle sensory detail that enhances the ritual.

How should I care for my candle?

Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface during the first burn to prevent tunneling. Always burn on a heat-safe surface, away from drafts. Before relighting, gently remove any ash from the wood wick once cooled. Proper care ensures a cleaner burn and longer-lasting candle.

How are your room sprays and diffusers made?

Our room sprays and reed diffusers are crafted using responsibly sourced, phthalate-free fragrance oils and housed in glass vessels chosen for durability and reuse. Every formulation is designed to disperse evenly, scent gently, and maintain integrity over time.

How long do your products last?

Most products remain at peak quality for 6–12 months when stored properly — away from heat, direct sunlight, and humidity. Always keep lids closed tightly when not in use.

What does sustainability look like at Emike Luxury?

Sustainability is woven into how we choose ingredients, materials, and packaging. Do you ship internationally?
